Something I use to wirelessly communicate with others; something I use to navigate with a map when my destination is new; something I use to check weather forecast when planning my day; a portable alarm, stoptimer and countdown timer; a reminding calendar that I can attach a meeting module and a location that opens in Maps; a flashlight and a moonlight; a compass; are basic things my smart phones can do.

While I can do web versions of my work apps from my computer, I can also do them on my smart phone. I can generate invoices on the go. Updating my expenses is also at my fingertips. So yes, the smart phone is my most important thing to carry with me.

Whenever I’m away from the studio, I would play piano, guitar or drums on my smart phone. There is also a chromatic tuner to tune my instruments. All my music can be recorded and played by just using a single device. I can also compose and view my music sheets straight from its screen. Do you find this device beneficial, too?
